The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Tuesday announced the postponement of the draw date for group stages of the Champions League and Confederation Cup.
CAF however failed to offer any reason for the postponement of the draw ceremony.
The draw was initially scheduled for Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
The continent’s soccer governing body stated that a new date will be announced in due course.
Rivers United are the only Nigerian club still competing on the continent.
The Port Harcourt club made it to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup following a 6-1 aggregate win against Al Nassr of Libya.
