CAF Women’s Champions League: Bayelsa Queens to face Sundowns in first game

Nigerian champions, Bayelsa Queens will face holders, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa in their first group game at 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League.

According to the full schedule for the competition released by the Confederation of African Football, the Group B encounter will hold at Stade Grande de Marrakech on October 31.

The Nigerians will confront Congo Democratic Republic side, TP Mazembe in their second game three days later also in Marrakech.

Their final group game will be against Egypt’s Wadi Degla on November 6 at the Stade Prince Heritier, Rabat.

The first two teams in the group will proceed to the semi-finals.

Hosts ASFAR (Morocco), Simba Queens SC (Tanzania), Green Buffaloes (Zambia) and Determine Girls (Liberia) are the teams in Group A.

The competition will take place from October 30 to November 13, 2022.
