CAFWCL: Edo Queens near semis after draw against Masar

Edo Queens, Nigeria’s defending champions in the CAF Women’s Champions League, are on the brink of a semi-final berth after a 0-0 draw with Egypt’s Masar FC.

With 4 points from two games, Edo Queens lead Group B on goal difference, ahead of Masar FC.

The next crucial match for the Nigerian side will be against the Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies on Saturday.

A draw in that match will secure their place in the semi-finals.
