Current Cameroon national team manager Marc Brys has been mentioned as a possible replacement for troubled Super Eagles manager Finidi George if the Nigerian’s resignation becomes official.
Following a draw against South Africa and a loss against the Benin Republic in Finidi’s only two matches in charge of the Super Eagles so far, the former Ajax manager has reportedly decided to leave the job after reports that the NFF, are in search of a foreign technical adviser to oversee the head coach.
According to Belgian publication Het Nieuwsblad, Brys has been mentioned as a possible solution to the Super Eagles’managerial conundrum, after being linked to the Nigeria job.

The Belgian manager is currently the head coach of Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions, but coaxing him to leave the job should not be difficult after he had several run-ins with Cameroon’s FA president Samuel Eto’o.
Brys’ appointment by Cameroon’s Sports ministry did not go down well with Eto’o, who also got into an altercation with the FC Eindhoven and Beerschot Wilrijk coach over what he deemed to be a disrespectful interaction.
The Belgian coach’s strained relationship with his current bosses could push him into the arms of the Super Eagles.
