Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has warned Alejandro Garnacho he must continue to have the right attitude to play regularly.
The 18-year-old was introduced in the second-half of their Carabao Cup clash with Aston Villa.
The exciting forward helped United seal a fine comeback win, after the hosts fell behind to Ollie Watkins’ goal.
Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay scored, with Garnacho providing two assists during his cameo as United won 4-2.
“I think it was good that when he came on he showed performance that he has an impact in the game.
“Can he have a regular role? Depends on how his approach, how his attitude, when he keeps working.
“That he keeps the attitude he wants to improve every day and he’s doing the right things in his lifestyle, then it’s possible,” Ten Hag said.
United will take on Fulham on Sunday in their last game before clubs go on break for the 2022 World Cup.
