Four key Chelsea players will not be part of the squad that will take on Real Madrid in Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final second-leg tie at Santiago Bernabeu.

This was disclosed by Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, during his pre-match press conference on Monday.

Tuchel said that the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ben Chilwell, Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley would not take part in the Real Madrid clash.

Tuchel’s men head to the game following a 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the first leg last week.

Chelsea had defeated Southampton 6-0 at the St Mary’s over the weekend in the Premier League, while Real Madrid won 2-0 against Getafe in the LaLiga.

“Callum Hudson-Odoi is still out, Ben Chilwell still out, Romelu Lukaku will not travel with us due to his pain in the Achilles,” Tuchel told reporters on Monday.

“Azpilicueta has tested negative several times and is in the group. Ross Barkley is sick and will not travel.”

The kick-off time for Real Madrid vs Chelsea is 8 pm.
