Champions League: He’ll help us – Ancelotti predicts Real Madrid vs Man City match

Date:

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has predicted a very tough game when his team clashed with Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final second-leg tie on Wednesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ancelotti also expressed confidence that midfielder Casemiro will help Real Madrid against Man City, adding that his return to the squad will strengthen his team defensively.

The Italian said this during his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.

Ancelotti’s men head to the game after losing 4-3 against Pep Guardiola’s side in the first leg last week at the Etihad Stadium.

Ancelotti said, “He [Casemiro] will help us out and his return strengthens us defensively.”

He added, “I don’t think that history has any part to play. It will be a very different game and every game is unique.

“They [Man City] have an advantage and we have to put in a better performance. It will be very tough, but we have got an incredible opportunity to reach another final.”
