Champions League: Yaya Toure names team to win trophy this season

Date:

Manchester City legend, Yaya Toure, has backed Pep Guardiola’s side to win the Champions League this season.

Toure, who is currently a coach at Tottenham Hotspur’s academy, wished Man City all the best in the Champions League this season.

The former Barcelona midfielder, however, admitted that it would not be easy for the Premier League champions.

Toure, a UEFA Champions League winner in 2008/09, stated this at the venue of this year’s Champions League draw in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Ivory Coast legend said, “Man City have a chance [to win the Champions League]. I think they have a chance this season.

“It is not going to be easy for them, but I wish them all the best.”
