Eric Chelle is set to travel to Europe next week for meetings with senior members of the Super Eagles.
Having been introduced by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in Abuja on Monday, Chelle will first spend time with the home-based Super Eagles, who are preparing for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), before heading to Europe this weekend.
The 47-year-old coach’s first stop will be in France, where he will meet Nantes winger Moses Simon.
The Malian will also visit Victor Osimhen in Turkey and other top stars in England as well as Germany.
Chelle is expected back in Nigeria after rounding up the European tour before the end of the month.
The former Mali defender will accompany the Home Eagles to CHAN 2024, where he will play a supervisory role.
