Premier league club Chelsea have completed the signing of Portuguese international Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid for the remainder of the 2022/2023 season.
Felix, 23, agreed to extend his contract with Atletico Madrid by one year taking his deal up until June 2027, before signing for Chelsea. He will return to the Spanish club after the expiration of his loan.

Felix could make his Chelsea debut at Craven Cottage against Fulham on Thursday night in the Premier League.
“Chelsea is one of the great teams in the world and I hope to help the team reach their objectives, so I am very, very happy to be here and very excited to play at Stamford Bridge,” Felix said on Chelsea’s official website.
Portuguese international becomes Chelsea’s fourth signing of the Jnuary transfer window following the arrivals of Benoit Badiashile, David Datro Fofana and Andrey Santos.
