Chelsea star Ziyech may return to Morocco under Villas-Boas

Date:

Ex-Chelsea and Tottenham manager, Andre Villas-Boas, is in line to manage Morocco.

According to Le360, current Morocco coach Vahid Halilhodzic is close to the sack.

The report goes on to suggest that Villas-Boas is the prime candidate to take over.

Halilhodzic has until Monday to bring back until Monday to respond to their proposal to reinstate the exiled trio of Ajax ace Noussair Mazraoui, Marseille loanee Amine Harit and Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech into the national team fold.

If he fails to exclude those players, he will be sacked and replaced.

Regardless of his future, such a stance from the Morocco FA suggests that Ziyech, Mazraoui, and Harit are almost certain to return for the national team in the coming months.
