Chelsea vs Arsenal: Why I won’t give up on Lukaku – Tuchel

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has insisted he will not give up on Romelu Lukaku despite the player’s indifferent form.

Lukaku returned to Stamford Bridge from Inter Milan last summer but has failed to recapture his best form.

Tuchel, however, believes the Belgian striker is still just a moment away from hitting top gear.

“If we cannot get the best out of a player for the team it feels, personally for me I feel it and I don’t want to have that feeling so.

“You never give up on players, you never give in, and I think Romelu is such a competitor that he feels the same and he behaves in the same way,” Tuchel told Sky Sports News.

Lukaku will be looking to score his first league goal in 2022 when the Blues host Arsenal in a London derby on Wednesday night.
