After recording another shocking 2-1 defeat to Kings FC in the ongoing 2024 New Year Maga Lotteries Nationwide League, Tony Chinemelum has assured that Fedan FC will get it right in the next game.
Fedan FC hopes to get back to winning ways when they lock horns against City Sports FC on Saturday at 8 am in a MatchDay 4 fixture at the Legacy Pitch.
“In football, you win, draw and lose some. The game against Kings FC was one we should have taken the maximum 3 points or at least a point, as we had the chance to kill the game in duration time.
” It was rather unfortunate the team had to ship in a goal late in the game after it fought back to equalize in the second half.
“The coaches must have spotted one or two lapses in the game and of course, the players have learned the hard way.
” They must now ensure they get their acts together against City Sports who recorded their first 3 points the day we lost.
“I trust the team to do better in the game as the management has done its best to motivate them since the start of the season.”
With 3 points in the bag from a win and two defeats, Fedan FC would hope to improve on their position on the Legacy Pitch 2 log, as they’re placed 7th.
