Chukwu Lands In Leverkusen For Trial

Nigerian wonder kid, Emmanuel Chukwu has landed in Bayer Leverkusen for a two- week trial along with his manager, Gbenga Agbejoye.

The youngster who is being wooed by so many top clubs in Europe including English Premier League side, Nottingham Forest, will also be traveling to England immediately after his training in Leverkusen for another two weeks trial with the club.

However, a decision will be made by summer regarding his final destination, his manager disclosed.

“I’m currently in Germany, Bayer Leverkusen to be precise with Emmanuel Chukwu.

“This lad is a top talent, trust me and I mean it.

“For his age and the quality he displays he is sure headed for the top.

“Many top European clubs are now scrambling for his signature including Nottingham Forest where we will also be traveling to immediately after his trial here at Leverkusen.

“But for now we cannot say exactly which club he would end up with until summer when we will come up with the best decision for him as regards his future”, Agbejoye who is SPOCS Nigeria director concluded.

The ball- playing center back  will also be joining the Nigeria Under 20 for WAFU cup competition, we are told.

As it stands now, what is almost certain is that this boy wonder will be leaving his current club, Samger Football Club, Gambia, to join  a European top side come this summer.
