Coach Paul Aigbogun Optimistic of Eagles Victory against Cape Verde on Tuesday

following the Super Eagle 2-0 victory against Liberia in their World Cup qualifiers match, Former National Under 20 and Enyimba International Coach Paul Aigbogun is optimistic that the team will perform the same magic as they battle Cape Verde in their second game billed for Estadio Nacional de Cabo Verde on Tuesday.

Eagles registered their first victory against Liberia at Teslim Balogun Stadium last friday hoping to leave for Cape Verde on Monday 6am aboard Airpeace 707 Chartered flight.

in an exclusive interview with SportsDayonline.com, Aigbogun maintained that with the high spirit in camp, those going for the game will surely play to the satisfaction.

“Super Eagles have pick their first home victory and 3 points in the World Cup qualifiers played on Friday and they are going to face Cape Verde next week Tuesday with the same spirit that i can assure you.

Speaking on the Absent of England players in team, Paul Aigbogun maintained,” Those players left because of Covid 19 restriction from England but does not mean those available will not repeat the same performance.

“Technical Crew invited capable players for both games, so they are prepared to challenge Cape Verde to victory. All they need is just our support and prays like always” Paul Aigbogun said.
