Falconets head coach Chris Danjuma has affirmed his team’s preparedness for their upcoming Round of 16 match against Japan.
Nigeria will face Japan at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo in Bogota on Friday morning. Japan advanced from Group E as the top team, securing all nine points from their three group matches. In contrast, the Falconets finished second in Group D, trailing Germany.

Danjuma and his squad arrived in Bogota on Tuesday, and the coach expressed confidence in his team’s readiness to secure a victory.
“The girls have worked incredibly hard to reach this stage, and we are proud of their efforts. We plan to approach the knockout stages one match at a time,” Danjuma told thenff.com.
“We are genuinely excited about the opportunity to face Japan and what it will bring,” he added.
