Nigeria’s Falconets received a warm welcome in Bogota, Colombia, ahead of the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Chris Danjuma’s squad arrived early for a two-week training camp.
The team was greeted with vibrant traditional dances, flag-waving fans, and members of the Local Organizing Committee.
The Falconets had a light training session on Monday to recover from their journey.
They will intensify preparations for the competition on Tuesday.
The Nigerian girls will face Australia and Mexico in friendlies before start of the World Cup.
The Falconets will face Germany, Venezuela and Korea Republic in Group D.
