Common Wealth Games: We will win Medals As Events Kicks off Tomorrow—Tonobok Okowa

The Prsident of Athletic Federation of Nigeria AFN Tonobok Ojuru Okowa has said that track and field athletes will win medals in the ongoing Common Wealth games as their events kicks of at the Alexzandra stadium Tuesday morning.

He said, “We are not here for a jambori. All the athletes who are here in Brimingham prepared very well for this event.

“They all had a good personal training and do not forget most of them just returned from World Championship as well.

“We are not going to fail because all eyes on the us and hopefully we will make Nigeria proud. Okowa said.
