Nigeria added more medals in the powerlifting event of the 2022 Commonwealth Games after Alice Oluwafemiayo set a new world record with 123.4kg in the women’s heavyweight.
Bose Omolayo added silver medal after lifting 115.2kg in the same weight category to add to Nigeria’s medal in the games.
This has increased Nigeria’s medals to four gold, two silver and five bronze medals.
