Cricket Federation Makes Plans For Female Team

Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) president, Professor Yahaya Ukwenya has disclosed that plans are in place to ensure the country’s female national team get busy from the start of 2019.

Ukwenya said the federation is planning a series of matches for the female team in January, first of which will be against visiting Rwanda.

The NCF boss further explained that the series will serve as preparation for the team towards the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup qualifiers that will take place around May 2019 in Zimbabwe.
