Danjuma Tagged Oustanding For Bournemouth

New summer arrival at Bournemouth of England, Arnaut Danjuma has been described as an outstanding addition to the squad base and depth of the English Premier League club, which also has four other Nigerian-born lads on their cards.

Danjuma arrived in midweek from Club Brugge of Belgium to join Nnnamdi Oforborh, Dominic Solanke, Jordon Ibe and Philip Anyanwu Billing at The Cherries, thereby adding to their rich pool of talent, much to the delight and excitement of the team’s coach, Eddie Howe.

Howe said Danjuma is an outstanding talent, whose arrival will further boost the team’s options, with a view that he is bound to bring to bear on the squad the experience he gained at Brugge, even as he goes for his debut in The Cherries’ opening match of the new campaign at home against EPL returnees, Sheffield United next Saturday, August 10.

Danjuma has come in at a time Wales forward Brooks is expected to be sidelined for three months with ankle trouble, while midfielder Gosling is nursing a hip concern, leaving Howe excited with the alternative lad.

Similarly, Bournemouth chief executive, Neill Blake is waxing lyrical for the two-cap Holland international, who emerged from PSV Eindhoven’s academy and enjoyed Champions League football last term in Belgium.

Blake declared: “Arnaut is another outstanding addition to our squad and I’m delighted that he is an AFC Bournemouth player.

“This is someone we have been tracking for a number of years, who has all the attributes to become a key player for this team.

“As a technical, attack-minded player, I’m confident Arnaut will excite our fans and they will enjoy watching him.”
