Dare Pledges To Reinvent Nigeria’s Sporting Artistry

New minister of sports, Sunday Akinlabi Dare has added more promises to his mission statement, with a declration that he will do everything he can to ensure the sector gets a fresh breath of air in terms of creativity, artistry and invigorated boosts to maken it commercially attractive.

Dare stated as much during his first day in office, as the communications expert and renowned joutrnalist declared that he has a vision to chart a novel course fior Nigerian sports, which he said should now begin to hog newspaper headlines and gain hot stories than run from the front page.

The former gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State took to social media to reveal his vission for Nigerian sports, but added that he is also keen on ensuring that youth development does not suffer any neglect during his unfolding tenure, as it is also part of the ministry’s purview.

He expressd gratitude to God for making his appointment possible and to President Muhammadu Buhari considering him worthy of the job of taking Nigerian sports and youth development to higher levels.

Dare posted: “First full day at the job. Grateful to God. Thankful to President Muhammadu Buhari for finding me worthy.

“My promise to the Nigerian Youth: We will deepen youth development and reinvent our sporting artistry.”
