Double Gold Medalist Udoh Dreams Olympics Podium

Bayelsa state table tennis kid sensation, Udoh Kemela, who won two gold medals in the ongoing NDSF, has set a lofty target for himself, saying, winning a medal in the Olympics in future, is something he would work towards.

Udoh, who shone like a million stars, displaying immense talent and skills and crowning it with the singles and doubles gold medals.

The sixteen years old, Udoh, revealed that, Bayelsa state tennis association president and his coach are key figures that has nurtured him to this level, and that he will everything to represent this country at the highest level and win laurel to honour them.

“I feel very excited to win two gold medals, the Niger Delta Sports Festival, has given a platform to showcase my God-given talent, I thank my president for his basic principles of decorum, hard work and dedication, which has helped to get to this level”, said.

“I will continue to work hard and give my best always because I want to play at the highest of table tennis and by the grace of God, I will win an Olympic medal”, the young lad stated.

Udoh kemela saw off Peter Ezuba of Ondo state, 4-2 in a keenly contested final, at the Ultrafit event centre, Uyo.
