Benjamin Tanimu says it’s a dream come true for him to make his maiden appearance for the Super Eagles.
The centre-back, who plays for Tanzanian club, Ihefu SC started the Super Eagles’ 2-1 friendly win against Black Stars of Ghana on Friday.
The 21-year-old was in action for 71 minutes before he was replaced by Ademola Lookman.
Tanimu took to social media to celebrate his debut for the three-time African champions.
“My joy knows no bounds today. The debut came and I thank God for the Grace to play my part in the little way I could. Thanks to the coaching crew, the entire backroom staff and the senior players for the warm reception into the team,” the defender posted on his X page.
