D’Tigers Aiming Beyond Sky’s Limit – Nnamdi

Nigerian basketball national team, D’Tigers star, Vincent Nnamdi has declared that the squad is fully charged to take on all comers and come out top at this year’s FIBA Mens Senior World Cup in China, with a view that they will reach beyond the sky, which he says is not their limit.

Nnamdi is staying upbeat over their chances in China, as he pointed at their array of build-up matches played on the road to China 2019, for which he reckons that D’Tigers have had a solid preparation programme.

While also disclosing that he and other players in the team are enjoying ‘the beautiful city’ of Wuhan, where they will play all their Group B matches against Russia, Korea and Argentina.

He reckoned further during Mega Sports on Star 101.5 FM, Lagos that the presence of top-rated players with huge talent and skills will complement what they have l;earnt so far, and he believes they will do better than many observers expect from them.

Nnamdi roared: “The sky is the limit for this team. We have the talent, we have the skills, we have the desire.

“We have determination and zeal, all of which make us the team to beat in China; and we’re going there to prove a point.

“We have been boosted in our confidence by the victories we got in our friendly matches, and we hope to do well in China.”
