As the search for Super Eagles coach continues following the exit of Portuguese coach Jose Peseiro, his immediate assistant Finidi George has been mandated to oversee the team in the upcoming friendlies against Black Stars of Ghana and Eagles of Mali respectively.
The two friendlies serving as shape up ahead of World cup qualifiers against Bafana Bafana of South Africa and Squirrels of Benin Republic are scheduled for March 22 and 26th respectively at the Grand Stade de Marrakech in Morocco.

George doubles as Head Coach of two time CAF Champions League winners Enyimba is also among ten coaches who have submitted their application to take over the saddle as coach of Super Eagles. NFF Director of Communications Ademola Olajire reportedly confirmed the development as Eagles prepare to regroup for the first friendly that is barely 8 days away.
