Real Madrid ‘will look to send Eden Hazard out on loan before the 2022 FIFA World Cup’ starts in November as the Belgian international looks to resurrect his Los Blancos career.

According to the Spanish newspaper Diario AS, Hazard may not begin the 2022-2023 season in the colours of Real Madrid.

The report added that with Vinicius Jr. in such good form and Kylian Mbappe potentially arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, there is little chance of regular football for Hazard.

Real Madrid aims to loan Hazard so he can regain form and fitness by playing regularly elsewhere and be ready to represent his Belgium national team in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Hazard joined Real Madrid from Chelsea in the region of £100 million back in 2019.

The 31-year-old has been plagued by injuries during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu and is sidelined once again.

This season, Hazard has played just 877 minutes of club football and started just nine matches for Carlo Ancelotti’s men.

Hazard will miss the remainder of the season to undergo surgery to remove a titanium osteosynthesis plate in his right fibula, which was inserted to heal a shinbone fracture he suffered.
