Edo Sports Commission Boss Congratulates Faith Irabor on CAF Appointment

The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has congratulated the Chairperson of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Referees Development Committee, Rtd. FIFA Referee Faith Irabor, on her appointment as a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Referees Committee.

In a statement signed by his Media Officer, Edoko Wilson Edoko, Hon. Enabulele described Irabor’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of her excellence, professionalism, and decades of service to football development in Nigeria and beyond.

“We are proud of Faith Irabor’s achievement. Her appointment to the CAF Referees Committee is not only a personal milestone but also a testament to the quality of sports administrators Edo State continues to produce. She has consistently represented Nigeria with integrity and competence,” Enabulele said.

He added that Irabor’s elevation to the continental stage would serve as an inspiration to young referees and women in sports administration to aim higher and remain committed to excellence.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF), through its sub-regional body — the West African Football Union (WAFU-UFOA) — oversees football development and officiating standards across Africa.
