Edo Sports Commission Chairman Congratulates National Sports Commission on One Year of Remarkable Achievements

The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has congratulated the National Sports Commission (NSC) on marking one year of remarkable achievements under the visionary leadership of its Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, and Director General, Hon. Bukola Olopade.

In a statement released by his Media Officer, Mr. Edoko Wilson Edoko, Hon. Enabulele expressed satisfaction with the progress the NSC has made in such a short time. He described the Commission’s performance as impressive and impactful, particularly in the areas of sports administration and policy reforms.

According to him, the synergy and leadership excellence demonstrated by Mallam Dikko and Hon. Olopade have repositioned the NSC as a dynamic, forward-looking institution capable of driving sustainable sports development in Nigeria.

“The National Sports Commission, under Mallam Dikko and Hon. Olopade, has redefined sports governance in Nigeria. Their inclusive and innovative approach has not only restored stakeholders’ confidence but has also opened fresh opportunities for athletes, coaches, and administrators across the country,” Hon. Enabulele said.

He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his visionary leadership and bold decision on October 24, 2024, to restructure the nation’s sports administration by scrapping the Federal Ministry of Sports and reconstituting the NSC as the central governing body.
