Rivers United technical adviser, Stanley Eguma lamented his team’s wastefulness despite their victory over Heartland.
Ukeme Williams scored the decisive goal to give Rivers United maximum points at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium Port Harcourt on Sunday.
Eguma believed that his team should have scored more goals as a mark of their dominance.
He however commended the players for getting the job done.

“We played well and we had a lot of scoring chances. If we had converted, it would have been more than one goal,” he stated in a post-match interview.
“It’s a game we dominated from the beginning to the end but we were unlucky not to score more goals.
“But at least that one goal has given us three points and it’s ok. I thank our players for their effort and also our management.”
Rivers United have recorded 31 points from 23 games this season.
