As Ramadan draws to a close, the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across the sports community and beyond on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
In a statement released by his Media Aide, Edoko Wilson Edoko, Enabulele described the season as one marked by reflection, sacrifice, discipline, and compassion—values that mirror the true spirit of sportsmanship.
He commended Muslim coaches, athletes, members of staff of the Commission and stakeholders for their dedication throughout the fasting period, noting that their commitment reflects the resilience, unity, and discipline that define competitive sport.

“As you celebrate this special occasion with family, friends, and loved ones, may it bring peace, renewed strength, and abundant blessings,” he said.
The Sports Commission boss also urged members of the sporting community to uphold unity, mutual respect, and excellence, both on and off the field.
“Let the lessons of Ramadan guide us as we continue to build a stronger, more inclusive, and progressive sports community,” he added.
He wished all Muslim faithful a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration.
