Elegbeleye Mourns Samson Siasia Father’s Death

Gbenga Elegbeleye, the Chairman of the Interim Management Committee (IMC) has expressed his deepest condolences to former Super Eagles coach and legend, Samson Siasia over the passing of his father.

Until his death, the nonagenarian was the oldest man in Odoni community in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

“Shocking to learn about the death of Siasia, the father of one of Nigeria’s finest footballer, Olympian and coach.

“Late Samson Saisai’s father was a passionate father and a community leader whom I have known for over twenty years. Samson Siasia has been my close friend for a very long time.

“May God console the Siasias and grant their late father eternal rest,” he said.
