The President of Mailantarki Care Football Academy (MCFA) Honourable Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki received royal father’s praises from the highest traditional ruler of Funakaye Local Government Area of Gombe State His Royal Highness Alhaji Mu’azu Muhammad Kwairanga when the officials and players of the football academy paid him a homage at his palace on Friday 31st December, 2021.
Muhammad Kwairanga applauded the gigantic effort of the former federal legislator with the aim of securing places in professional clubs for talented footballers outside the shores of the country.
“I’m highly excited with the development brought by Hon Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki, this is a tangible project which if the boys put much seriousness they will be able to help not only their families but the entire Gombe State. I’m informed that some players have since secured places in top clubs in Europe through the football Academy, I’m highly proud and happy to associate myself and the emirate with the development that’s first of its kind in the entire state.
“I’m wishing you (players) successes in all your outings everywhere you go, may almighty Allah bless you all, for the honourable (Hon Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki) that established and funded the academy for the progress of our youth, I pray may almighty Allah continue to bless him and gives him more courage in helping the youth and communities at large”.
The brief yet remarkable occasion held at the Emir’s palace rounded off with the presentation of MCFA official jersey to the Royal Father, Coordinator Auwalu Kawuwa alongside Media & Communication Director Adamu Usman Ahmed presented the Cone branded ‘MCFA’ customized jersey as the club souvenir.
The team will latter engage Bajoga United in a novelty game at Bajoga township mini stadium as part of the event to celebrate the Emir who is set to add another wife tomorrow Saturday 1st January, 2022 in Bajoga town.
Other MCFA officials present includes Secretary Umar Garba and Coaches Sule Garba, Salisu Zico and Labaran Babisco.
