Emmanuel Dennis In EPL Player Of The Month Shortlist

Emmanuel Dennis is one of six players on the shortlist for the English Premier League Player of the Month award for November 2021.

Dennis is up against the Manchester City duo of Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo, Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota and Aston Villa’s Scottish midfielder John McGinn.

The Watford forward became the sixth player to reach at least five goals and 5+ assists in his first 12 Premier League matches after scoring two and creating two more in November.

Three of the goal involvements came in a 4-1 triumph over Manchester United.

He was also on target and won a penalty converted by Joshua King as the Hornets were beaten 4-2 by Leicester City.

The Nigerian, who also scored a breathtaking goal in Watford’s 2-1 loss to a Chelsea midweek. has been a delight to watch in the premier league and he’s being eyed by some top clubs already.

Megasportsarena.com reports that Dennis could become the fifth Nigerian player to win the Premier League Player of the Month, after Austin JJ Okocha, Osaze Odemwingie, Odion Jude Ighalo and Kelechi Iheanacho.

The fans’ vote will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner, who will be announced next week.
