Enabulele Hails Jude Atoe’s Emergence as Judo Federation Scribe

The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has congratulated Mr. Jude Atoe on his election as Secretary General of the Judo Federation of Nigeria. Atoe emerged at the Federation’s General Congress held in Abuja on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

In a message released through his Media Officer, Edoko Wilson Edoko, Enabulele described Atoe’s victory as a “new dawn for Judo in Nigeria,” noting that it reflects the trust and confidence of stakeholders in his leadership capacity and years of service to the sport.

“Mr. Atoe’s wealth of experience and proven record will no doubt reposition Judo in Nigeria,” Enabulele said. “His election is not just a personal triumph but a collective win for the sporting community, especially as the country seeks greater global recognition in combat sports.”

He expressed optimism that under Atoe’s leadership, more opportunities would open up for judokas across the nation, while Edo State continues to strengthen its role in the growth of martial arts and combat sports.

Enabulele further assured that the Edo State Sports Commission would work closely with the new leadership of the Federation to raise standards, nurture young talents, and build pathways for Nigerian athletes to shine at continental and international championships.

The Edo Sports boss concluded by wishing Atoe a successful tenure, praying for wisdom, strength, and vision as he takes on his new responsibility.
