Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has predicted that Liverpool will finish in the top four under their new manager, Arne Slot.
Last season, Liverpool finished third behind Manchester City and Arsenal under their previous manager, Jürgen Klopp.
Klopp departed after the 2023/24 campaign, and Slot was appointed as his successor.

With the 2024/25 season set to begin later this month, Agbonlahor shared his views on talkSPORT, suggesting that Manchester City and Arsenal will be the main contenders for the Premier League title, leaving Liverpool to focus on a top-four finish.
Agbonlahor remarked, “I still see Liverpool finishing in the top four. I don’t think they’ll be in the title race.
It’s Slot’s first season, and if he manages to win the title, it would be an extraordinary achievement.
However, I don’t believe there’s pressure on him to compete with Manchester City and Arsenal for the championship.”
