Two Super Eagles strikers are reportedly on Manchester United’s four-man shortlist as the club looks to strengthen its attacking options under new manager Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils have struggled in front of goal, scoring just 13 times in 12 Premier League matches this season.
According to Sky Germany, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush and Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen are the top candidates for a move to Old Trafford.
Marmoush, who has netted 11 goals in as many Bundesliga appearances for Frankfurt, is valued at around £50 million. Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray after pushing for a move from Napoli, has a £63 million release clause and has scored eight goals in 10 matches this season.
Randal Kolo Muani and Victor Boniface are also reportedly on Manchester United’s radar, though they are considered outside contenders.
Kolo Muani, signed for £77 million by Paris Saint-Germain last year, has made just two starts this season, with the French club open to either a loan or permanent transfer.
Boniface has been in impressive form, scoring eight goals in 15 matches this season and 14 in 23 league appearances last term, helping Bayer Leverkusen win the Bundesliga title.
Manchester United’s forwards have struggled for consistency this season, with Rasmus Højlund scoring only twice after a disrupted start due to injury. Joshua Zirkzee has scored just once since his £36.5 million move from Bologna this summer, despite making 18 appearances.
