EPL: Arsenal’s rivals believe Arteta ‘in pole position’ to sign £64m striker

Arsenal’s rivals believe Mikel Arteta’s side are “in pole position” to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, according to the UK Telegraph.

Sesko signed for the Bundesliga team in a €24million deal from Red Bull Salzburg last summer.

Since then, the 20-year-old has scored 17 goals for Leipzig.

Sesko is also admired by Manchester United, with his agent in attendance at Old Trafford last Sunday for the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.

However, Arsenal “have strong interest” in Sesko and are considering a move this summer.

Sesko has also attracted interest from Chelsea, who are expected to be in the market for a new striker in the summer window.
