EPL: Arteta receives double injury boost ahead of Arsenal’s fixtures

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta is set to get a huge injury boost ahead of a crucial run of games.

Declan Rice left the field with an apparent hamstring injury as they beat Crystal Palace 5-0 on Saturday.

According to the Daily Mail, the early signs are that he will be available for next week’s Premier League game at Nottingham Forest.

In more positive news, Jurrien Timber continues to make good progress in his recovery from the cruciate knee ligament injury.

Timber suffered the injury against Forest on the opening day of the campaign in August.

Having recovered from surgery, the Dutchman is now close to being able to train with the rest of the first team group for the first time since August.
