Chelsea striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed how former Arsenal team-mate Alexandre Lacazette reacted to his move to Stamford Bridge.
Former Arsenal captain Aubameyang left the club for Barcelona in February but returned to London in a £10m deal on last summer’s transfer deadline day.
Aubamayang made 24 appearances and scored 13 goals for Barcelona and scored 92 in 163 games for the Gunners.
Lacazette, said to be one of Aubameyang’s closest friends at Arsenal, was shocked to see the Gabon international join Chelsea.
Aubamayang revealed that he got a message from Lacazette and was asked whether it was to wish him good luck in West London, Aubameyang said: “Nah, no!
“Even before when he just heard about the rumours, he was like, ‘what, nah, really?!’
