Manchester United midfielder, Casemiro, has explained why teammate Antony was an important signing for the club this summer.
Casemiro and Antony both arrived at Old Trafford in the summer transfer window for significant sums of money.
Casemiro was bought for £60million, while Antony came for a fee of £86 million.
“I think it’s really important to have such a quality player here [as Antony] with us,” Casemiro told Man United’s official website. “I knew him from the national team already.
“He would play with us in Brazil, it is always important to have players of Antony’s level. Not just him, we have a lot of top-quality players.”
“It’s great, really good, a really friendly club where I feel comfortable,” he added.
