Chelsea hold the key to Roma striker Tammy Abraham’s future.
The Athletic says Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag looks set to bolster his frontline this summer and a striker wishlist is already being drawn up, with the likes of Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen being named as potential targets.
Abraham is another target for the Red Devils this summer and the club have sent scouts on numerous occasions to the Stadio Olimpico to watch the Englishman.
However, any move for Abraham could be scuppered by his former club Chelsea, with Roma obliged to inform them if another club comes in for the 25-year-old.
When Chelsea sold Abraham to Roma for £34million in the summer of 2021, the west London club’s then director of football Marina Granovskaia negotiated a £71m buy-back clause, which would allow them first refusal on the player.
