Date:

Chelsea winger, Noni Madueke has revealed that the dressing room was “silent” following the 2-2 draw against Sheffield United on Sunday.

The Blues dropped points against the team rooted at the bottom of the league, conceding the second equalizer in the 93rd minute.

After the game, Madueke, who got on the scoresheet, opened up about the mood among the players following the poor display at Bramall Lane.

He told the BBC: “Silent [in the dressing room] to be honest.

“Of course we should have won the game. The way we drop points sometimes, it was in the palm of our hands.

“There are still games to go, we have to stick together and I have faith we can finish in the places we want to finish in.

“There are some positives for sure, but this is our Achilles heel, the next game after a top result – we haven’t been able to do well in that department so far.”
