EPL: Chelsea striker Aubameyang says Tuchel sacking ‘sad and strange’

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed it’s “sad” seeing Thomas Tuchel sacked by Chelsea.

Aubameyang moved to Chelsea to work with his former Borussia Dortmund coach.

He told Goal: “Everyone knows the relationship I had with Thomas. It’s always sad when someone leaves the club. Obviously I only met him for a few days. When you play football, you have to adapt very quickly to certain moments during the season, this can happen.

“It’s been a crazy week for all of us, it’s part of life, we have to adapt. I think it’s a bit sad at the moment, hopefully we’ll be back to better days soon.

“Of course, I think it’s a bit strange for everyone, not just for me, but as I said, this is football, you have to adapt.”
