EPL: Chelsea will miss ‘best owner in the world’, says John Terry

Chelsea legend, John Terry, has hailed Roman Abramovich as the best football club owner in the world.

Russian billionaire Abramovich announced on Wednesday that he has put Chelsea up for sale.

The news come as Abramovich is feeling the threat of potential sanctions following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Chelsea won five Premier League titles, five FA Cups, three League Cups, the Champions League twice and the Europa Leagues during the Abramovich era.

Terry was captain of the club for a large portion of Abramovich’s reign, and the Englishman took to Instagram to praise his former boss.

Terry said: “Thank you Roman @chelseafc.

“The best owner in the WORLD.”
