EPL: Cristiano Ronaldo is the best in the world, says Wolves ace Neves

Date:

Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves has hailed Portugal teammate Cristiano Ronaldo as the best player in the world.

Manchester United striker Ronaldo has been released from Portugal’s squad ahead of their clash with Switzerland.

Neves said, “Everyone treats the rotation as something natural. As the coach said when we arrived at the location of the national team, he has 26 players ready to play. The choice is up to the coach. Everyone is very well prepared to go on the field and help the team.

“What do I think about the absence of Ronaldo? Obviously, Ronaldo is the best player in the world. It’s always great to get the opportunity to play with him, but all the players of the national team are ready to go on the field and compete for three points.”
