EPL: Erik ten Hag picks Victor Osimhen as Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement

Manchester United boss, Erik Ten Hag, has identified Napoli star Victor Osimhen as the possible replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Dutch boss is already planning for life after the Portugal captain as he could leave Old Trafford in January.

The Portugal international was denied his wish to leave Old Trafford last summer.

Ten Hag, who joined the Red Devils from Ajax over the summer, wanted to keep Ronaldo due to a shortage of options in attack.

But the Dutch coach now needs another striker as the veteran’s performances have not been up to expectations this season.

Whether he leaves or stays United are determined to bring in a new centre forward.

The Evening News reports that Osimhen is high on Manchester United’s list.

The Nigeria International is the top scorer in Serie A so far this season with nine goals in 13 matches.
