Everton have welcomed Jack Nayler as their new Head of Sports Science.
The former RB Leipzig man, who makes the move to Goodison Park after 15 months with the Bundesliga side, has extensive experience in elite level sport. He worked for nearly five years at Celtic as Head of Sports Science before moving to Germany and has previously worked with former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti at clubs such as Real Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
Speaking about the appointment to evertonfc.com, director of football Kevin Thelwell remarked: “Jack is one of the best in his profession and we are delighted for him to become a key part of our first team setup.
“He is hugely respected in the field of sports science, highlighted by the fact he has worked for some of the best clubs in Europe, and his expertise will further strengthen our talented backroom team at Everton.”
