Arsenal striker, Gabriel Jesus, has hit out at Everton defender Yerry Mina after an altercation between the duo emerged during last weekend’s pre-season friendly tie.
Recall that Jesus scored as Arsenal defeated Everton 2-0 in Baltimore last weekend.
The former Manchester City star, however, was involved in a disputed contest when he was confronted by Mina, who aimed several aggressive gestures in the direction of the Brazilian.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Jesus, who played with Mina at Palmeiras, said: “You know what, I have played with Mina before in Palmeiras. We were so close to each other.
“Then, after, I don’t know why he started to attack me to do something like this on my chest and then talking s**t. I don’t know why.
“I don’t know the reason for him to do this. At the end, I am not a kid anymore and I go straight to him as well. After that, we won the game and that is all.”
