EPL: Guardiola confirms two players to miss Arsenal clash

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has given injury updates ahead of Sunday’s visit of Arsenal in the Premier League.

John Stones and Kyle Walker limped off during England duty.

The two defenders both missed City’s training on Thursday and will not be available for selection.

“Injuries. Ederson is much, much better. Kyle and John are out.

“It is what it is,” Guardiola told reporters for Friday.

He added: “We played really good over the last month, the first game after the international break, you think about what will happen. We trained well yesterday and prepared for the game.

“Akanji is ok [to play against Arsenal.]”
